04/22 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; 10:25)…
1 Samuel 4:22 (KJB) And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.
Backstory. Eli’s daughter In law dies while Ichabod is born. The lamp of the Lord had gone out (bad typology) in Eli’s day. Eli restrained not his sons (most men today offer no restraint whatsoever and even embrace/endorse sins). The ark of the testament was taken and Eli fell BACKWARD (type) and broke his neck at the news. He judged for 40 years (40 is trials/testings in Bible numerics)… The Devil STOLE THE WORD OF GOD (ark).
By the way and peripheral sidenote, God calls a woman’s long hair her “glory” in 1 Corinthians 11. We call these modern haircuts “ICHA-BOB” haircuts where the GLORY HATH DEPARTED. Not so cute. Selah.
ICHABOD. The GLORY HATH DEPARTED. God’s glory is HIS PRESENCE, HIS ANOINTING.
Ezekiel 43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
We are called to be FULL OF GOD’S GLORY ALL FOR GOD’S GLORY.
BLESS GOD’S GLORY!!!!! Never curse it. Never desire it to be GONE.
Ezekiel 3:12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Most of these House of Saul churches today are ICHABOD. THE GLORY HATH DEPARTED.
Psalm 78:61 And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
Glory departing is a VERY, VERY BAD OMEN.
Hosea 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth-aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
HEAVEN WILL BE GLORIOUS:
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Corinthians 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. (see those 3 ones there and a 10?):
We are called to be object lessons for angels, church.
Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God...
What do the WATCHERS/ANGELS think?
God’s coming back for a GLORIOUS CHURCH:
Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
