Blessings From Jesus! 💙 (And my Dad’s charge)

 God really blessed me on my birthday today, y’all! :) 

We’re those crazy Bible numeric nerds who count everything and look for God to speak in numbers. Well, Dad just discovered TODAY (on my birthday!) that The word “Hope” is in the Bible 129 times! 12/9 is my birthday! Wow. God thinks of everything! I was also born weighing 5.14 and my name is Hope Jerusalem Eve; 5/14 is Israel’s anniversary date! God has MILLIONS and even infinite numbers connected to you, y’all! We will find out about God’s intricate numerics for all of eternity! :) 

Here’s Dad’s  neat charge today: I read Revelation 12: 9-11 last night before bed. And I was Singing that song (that I love a lot!) called “We will Overcome” while cleaning at client’s houses today! :)

Choose Sides Carefully/Prayerfully…

12/9 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Heb.3:13; Heb.10:25)…

What good news can we FIND this 12/9 in the following 12:9?

Revelation 12:9 (KJB) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Satan is that “old” serpent. He has had millennia to devote to the PERFECTION OF DECEPTION. He has a tailored plan for YOU, ME, and every human. Hell’s successful campaigns ARE HUGELY SUCCESSFUL insomuch that Jesus said MOST would choose the BROAD WAY (hint hint) to destruction and few would choose the narrow way to heaven (Matt.7:13-14). 

Note that Satan DECEIVETH THE WHOLE WORLD. And note he has fallen angels with him. 

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

This is why the Bible expressly forbids being conformed to the world (Romans 12) since the prince of the world is working in the children of disobedience or those that obey not the Gospel (John 16:11; Eph. 2; 2 Thess. 1:8, etc.). 

Worldly, carnal Christians are quickening the BAD GRID (Eph.6:12) rather than the good grid. And, sadly, most DON’T EVEN REALIZE IT. This is why it is called DECEPTION. 

Good news? Satan will be cast down. Bad News? He will have great wrath knowing his time is short. A demonic evil-fest is on the horizon. While God is not our genie, can you not SENSE the closeness? There cannot be many more years based on Bible prophecy. Time is very, very short. 

Now, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these following verses after our focus passage. 

Rev. 12:10-11 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Devil means “slanderer/railer.” When a Christian becomes a railer (see 1 Cor. 5) he has joined the BAD GRID of Satan and God says to not even EAT with them. You are to avoid them. This is why it is imperative TO CHECK OUT the accusations folks are making. Read that again. Yeah - YOU.

Christ's BODY is HIS bread which is His word and those born of the word (pillar and ground of the TRUTH or church per 1 Tim. 3:15):

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

1 Thessalonians 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Paul was persecuting the CHURCH:

Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Note that in our focus passage, we can claim many of these promises NOW. It will be ultimately fulfilled, but in Christ, we can overcome Satan NOW via the GLORIOUS GOSPEL (crucified with Christ by faith, buried, and risen again, taking up our crosses by faith/grace daily, walking in the light/blood of Jesus, proclaiming the word of our testimony, etc.). 

Question. Will YOU this day make full allegiance with Christ and His Kingdom, or will you persist in joining the Accuser of the Brethren and be deceived by that old serpent which deceiveth the whole world?
