On Today, 8/20, here is an 8:20 Calendric-Ciphre Code-Struction:

Job 8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers…

“Cast away.” Interesting phraseology.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

The same Greek word for “castaway” in 1 Cor. 9:27 is also translated “rejected” and “reprobate.” Hebrew does similar. Yea, and in most cases, cast away is indeed REPROBATION (the point of no return). The Dreadful Dead End. 

Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Focus Passage: Job 8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers…

In short, God will not reprobate a perfect man, and will offer no help to those that do evil. The contrast is obvious: the perfect man on one side (God’s side) who does good, and the evil doer on the other side (without God’s help).

Look at the next two verses… 

Job 8:21-22 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

Ahhh…. I LOVE THIS JESUS WALK. The perfect way of the perfect words of God brings a daily cross (that cross was replete with persecutors and bitter betrayal) and a heartache that only will end in JOY UNSPEAKABLE And FULL Of GLORY. Those at variance will be clothed with shame, and ultimately brought to nought. MARK IT DOWN. God CANNOT LIE (Titus 1:2, etc.). 

Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Mockery has an Expiration Date. God's Vindication Does Not. 

Jer. 23:14 saith, “…they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness…” 

Lord knows we’ve tasted of the “Adulterous Generation” folks out yonder that walk in lies and strengthen the hands of evildoers. God is not helping them and they rarely repent. We pray for them and their repentance daily, but if not granted & if refused, they, sadly, will be cast away.  

For Decades, I have oft thought that the following 8:20 verse construction is ONE Of The SADDEST VERSES In The BIBLE. Will it be YOUR fate and final words? 

Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

Selah. THINK ABOUT THAT VERSE. A Threefold Funeral Bell. Read it again. Purpose this 8/20 To NOT Be Of THAT NUMBER. 

One of my most oft-quoted, loved verses for decades is the following 8:20 construction: 

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Back to our focus passage for 8/20. The PARADOX OF PERFECTION. Philippians 3 sums it up nicely. Paul states he was not already perfected as in a resurrected glorified state. Yet, he speaks to “as many as be perfect.” God demands us in Matthew 5:48 to “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” God commands what He will do in us (Philip. 4:13; Eph. 6; Zech. 4:6; John 15:5, etc.).

Free Gold: See that 5:48 in Matt. 5:48? Jesus called His resurrection being "perfected" (Luke 13:32). God resurrected Israel 5 of '48, as a nation born in a day (Isa. 66:8), the dry bones & stones raised up! 

By the way, just a hidden nugget and free key, but “the perfect man” also points to the church (see 1 Cor. 13; Ephesians 4; Genesis 5; Nehemiah 8:1, etc. for details). The church is Jesus' body, as Jesus is the Ultimate Perfect Man. 

We are commanded in Eph. 5, Col. 3, & James 5 to sing Psalms. Here is one:

Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Will Y🫵U trust by His Grace, Power, and Spirit to walk in God’s perfect light, perfect words this day, to be perfect and throughly furnished (2 Tim. 3:16-17)? Only Jesus can perform His will in you. You cannot. Jesus said that all that come unto Him, He will in no wise cast out. God will not cast away a perfect man, nor will God help the evil doers. Live right, live holy, live for Him today. He promised to supply the POWER. 

God will fill your mouth with laughter in that day when GOD GETS The LAST LAUGH (Prov.1; Prov. 3:34; Psalms 2; Gal.6:7). Let the lying, mocking evil doers “lol” now, and one day, in the Grand Switch, the first will be last, and the last first. Pray for the wrong side to get right before everything gets locked into place and sealed for eternity.
