Recognizing and Reconciling God’s PARADOXES?
10/07 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3, etc.)
For this 10/7, examine this 10:7…
Mark 10:7 (KJB) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and CLEAVE to his wife…
Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall CLEAVE in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
I LOVE THE BIBLE. It is MARVELOUS IN MY EYES.
The word “cleave” can mean to come together or it can mean to SPLIT APART depending on the context. Ahhhhhh…. I love the Bible.
The Bible is a BOOBY-TRAPPED BOOK like none other. We call it “the Treacherous Truth Trap.” Got Pride? That Book will tan your hide. Get humble and it won't make you stumble.
To understand it, you must STAND UNDER IT.
Paradox is not two physicians (pair o’ docs) but simply means “SEEMING contradiction.”
WANT A FREE KEY? FREE KEY:
EVERY DOCTRINE IN THE BIBLE IS A PARADOX UP TO AND INCLUDING THE DOCTRINE OF PARADOX.
That is an ABSOLUTE LAW like mathematics. You can bank on it.
Watch Isaiah 28 unveil some things:
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little…
And verse 13… 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Doctrine is dispersed/scattered deliberately throughout the scriptures by Divine Design.
Look at Isaiah 29:11 and 12... 11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
God has ordered His word in such a fashion that only by the Holy Spirit (the seal) will you understand it (unseal it). Matthew 13 teaches that parables were for CONFOUNDING and not for easy to understand word pictures as some erroneously teach.
In short, God catches the self-prudent and proud in their own craftiness, and reveals His secrets and certainty to His servants who humbly bow.
Another FREE KEY if thou canst bear: Think of the Bible as PARALLEL LINES. Think railroad tracks. When standing on the railroad tracks, they seem to contradict eventually in the distance from our point of view. However, keep walking, and you'll see YOU WERE WRONG. Better yet, get the areal point of view, and they NEVER CONTRADICT/CROSS. They are straight and true. Get God’s Divine View, and things are merely parallel paradoxes.
Have you fallen for any of the TRUTH TRAPS? You are commanded to “study” the scriptures and “search” the scriptures, etc. No time to waste. Step away from Facebook, and get your FACE IN THE BOOK. Turn off the Hell-i-vision and turn on the HOLY VISION. Every paradox has reconciliation. It requires you to study it out. I will give you ONE EXAMPLE. After that, go do your HOMEWORK.
In Acts 9:7, Paul’s attendants were “hearing a voice, but seeing no man” when Jesus was addressing Paul. Yet, watch this:
Acts 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
Which is it?
Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Jesus said you can HEAR AND HEAR NOT. In short, Jesus spoke in the Hebrew tongue to Paul who understood. His attendants did not speak Hebrew. Thusly, they heard, but heard not. I hear folks speak Spanish (etc.) but I HEAR NOT. That is, I do not hear as in UNDERSTAND. So, you can both HEAR and NOT HEAR.
Embrace the paradoxes boldly and trust for a third verse (etc.) to reconcile.
DON’T PENDULUM SWING ON THE PARADOXES or the spirit of error will reign supreme and you’ll lack sound doctrine, sound speech, sound heart, sound mind…Tread thou carefully through the Treacherous Truth Trap. There are some mystery mines for those that undermine the Ultimate Mind of God... Receive with meekness the engrafted word as commanded.
Standing under to UNDERSTAND, -r <3
