Thinking God’s thoughts…
Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) challenge today. LOVE IT!
π₯π₯✅π⬆️π☝️✝️⚔️π‘️πΉπ―π⚠️ππ―ππ
Would you DO THAT, THINK THAT, SAY THAT, if Jesus was RIGHT THERE WITH YOU?
10/09 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3, etc.)
For this 10/9, keep this 10:9 in mind…
Genesis 10:9 (KJB) He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
Even as the Holy Ghost highlights that Enoch is the 7th from Adam, let us note that Nimrod is the 13th from Adam. In Bible Numerics, 13 generally speaks of Rebellion.
That phrase “before the Lord” will be our focus. In circles more of a Reformed persuasion, they like to use the Latin phrase “Coram Deo” meaning “Before the Face of God.” Sadly, I have observed for decades that the phrase is used in a wrong way. The concept of always being “before the Lord” is fine, but I have watched folks in circles justify Hellywood, sports idolatry, worldly rock and roll music, encouraging their children in fornication, you name it (sky's the limit) and think “Coram Deo” is some sin-sanctifying stamp of approval from the Saviour and Thumbs up from the Theos. Sick sick sick 666. I call that mindset “DEFORMED.” Like one lady told me who married the second infidel, “I can’t help who I fall in love with and after all, God is SOVEREIGN.” In short, everything is CORAM DEO, so they justify fatalistic deterministic delving into the depths of the Devil. TAKE HEED. Of course, that "marriage" did not last. It wasn’t God’s PRIMARY WILL. Just because God is everywhere doesn’t mean every FREEWILL notion is God’s PRIMARY WILL.
After all... "Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?" (Prov. 15:11)
Even Nimrod, builder of the tower of Babel, was “before the Lord.” In Job 1, Satan appeared before the Lord. Matter of fact, Revelation 12 says that Satan petitions the Throne of heaven DAY AND NIGHT. The Bible says, “The eyes of the Lord are IN EVERY PLACE, beholding the evil and the good.” In short, everything is BEFORE THE LORD. One cannot flee from His presence.
There is CONCENTRATED PRESENCE however. For example, a born again believer has God’s concentrated presence (to varying degrees of Spirit-filling) in their spirit/heart. James so aptly advised to “Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.” Heaven is obviously full of God’s concentrated presence. Colossians 3:1 says to “Set your affection on things above…” Even hell has God’s presence per Psalms 139:8 and Revelation 14:10 which says “…shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb…” This is God as a “consuming fire” per Hebrews 12. Which “before the Lord” do you want? Holiness before the Lord or Sin before the Lord? Your choice today.
But today, let us be mindful of God’s presence and give place to God by faith to see His concentrated presence with affirmations/answered prayers. Apparently in this final stretch, God is pouring this on strong. This daily Jesus walk has been replete with signs galore from the One we adore. <3 God enjoys taking mere dust and quickening it for His own glory and good pleasure.
One day, we will all stand BEFORE THE LORD. You will stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ or at the White Throne Judgment (your choice).
Luke 21:36 “ Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 “…Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
It’s basic. Via God’s grace and Spirit, via the daily Gospel walk, being crucified, buried, risen again with Christ, we should not THINK, SAY, DO anything that we wouldn’t THINK, SAY, DO IN JESUS’S PRESENCE. Because, HE IS HERE. We are BEFORE THE LORD.
As we by His Hand and grace, deny ourselves, take up our crosses daily, and follow Jesus (Gal. 2:20, 6:14, etc.) being crucified with Him, buried with Him (Rom. 6) and raised with Him in this DAILY JESUS WALK of the Glorious Gospel, we are BEFORE HIM.
I am just dirt. The Lord's DIRT, Trampled by men, quickened by God – with the breath of God in my nostrils and Before the Lord, -r <3
