What Happened to the Local Church? 

10/25 Daily (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11) Exhortation. 

This 10/25, stay ALIVE with this 10:25…

Hebrews 10:25 (KJB)  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

There are 19 verses with the 10:25 construction. In Bible Numerics, 19 is the Number of Faith. The context of our focus passage has in verse 23 “Let us hold fast the profession of our FAITH without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)… 

To forsake Jesus’ BODY (local church), is to FORSAKE HIM. Why? Because it is HIS BODY for one, and two, HE IS IN THE MIDST OF HIS LOCAL CHURCH. 

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I IN THE MIDST of them. [Context: Local Church discipline situation; see 1 Cor. 5:3-5... ] 

John 20:19   Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week [SUNDAY], when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and STOOD IN THE MIDST, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

This is ONE reason why the local church meets on a SUNDAY. 

John the Revelator saw Jesus STANDING IN THE MIDST OF THE GOLDEN CANDLESTICKS WHICH WERE CHURCHES (Rev.1:13) and in Rev. 2:1 it says of Jesus: “who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks…” 

You see, JESUS SHOWS UP IN A LOCAL CHURCH by His Omnipresent Spirit. To forsake His Body IS TO FORSAKE HIM. 

Satan, with corrupted wisdom (Ezek.28:17), has thusly TARGETED THE BONAFIDE (with good faith) BRIDE LOCAL CHURCH with great strength. What we witness today is a RAVISHED RENDITION of the local church MARRED BEYOND RECOGNITION. 

Autonomous (law unto themselves) men are Autobiographical in their Arguments against a local church Accountability Assembly. In short, they are writing their own biographies and scripting OUT the local church. This generation hates the New Testament model. The American Assembly pervades in this modern culture. In short, they have taken a BODY (local church) and turned it into a BUSINESS, which is harlotry. There should NEVER BE A CHARGE FOR MINISTRY. NEVER. Christianity is not FOR MAKING A BUCK. 

The gates of hell will not prevail against a church (Matt.16:18), but if men (patriarchs?) allow enough place to Satan, God will remove the candlestick of the local church geographically (Rev. 2:5) if they don’t repent from whence they are fallen!!!

The candlesticks have been removed over and over and over. They cease to be a church bearing any semblance to the New Testament model. The electricity might be on in that BUILDING, but the candlestick is removed and though it may say “church” on a sign, it is NOT A CHURCH. Far as that goes, the New Testament church never met in any buildings and the signs they had were SIGNS FROM GOD, but THAT is another teaching altogether. 

When Saul of Tarsus was persecuting the church, going from house to house to do so, Jesus said Saul was PERSECUTING HIM (see Acts 9). Why? The church is HIS BODY. 

Many misunderstand what "antichrist" means. Certainly it is AGAINST CHRIST. John 6:66 (see the 666) is a clue. It says that many of His disciples turned and walked with Him NO MORE. This generation has turned against Christ, and especially this last generation of Christians is AGAINST THE LOCAL CHURCH. Simply contrast the Bible New Testament model church with the social club hideout/hangouts you see today called "church." 

DON’T FORSAKE the assembling of yourselves together ALL THE MORE AS THE END TIMES DAY IS APPROACHING. And Brethren, IT IS HASTILY APPROACHING.
