FORSAKE ALL THE SIN, NOT THE ASSEMBLY OF SAINTS.

01/05 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3)…

This 1/5, may this 1:5 COME ALIVE to you: 

Psalm 1:5 (KJB)  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Let’s focus on the latter part of this passage. Note that SINNERS shall not stand in the congregation of the righteous. 

This is unpopular teaching today. Demas means “POPULAR” and we know that Paul wrote that DEMAS forsook him, having loved this present world, and departed to Thessalonica. That which is “popular” per Luke 16:5 is an abomination in the sight of God. Pop music is wordly, etc. But today, many succumb to this “THROW IN THE TOWELISM” that sinners should stand in the congregation of the righteous. NOT SO. 

1 Corinthians 5:11 brings a SOBERING, SERIOUS, SMACKDOWN to pseudo -churches today: 

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Holy Ghost headache alert!!! The context is to PUT AWAY THE WICKED PERSON via church discipline. But look at that list above. How many folks do you know are put out of a local church for railing or being covetous, or being a fornicator, etc.? Well, THEY SHOULD. 

Eventually the Holy Ghost will SMOKE THEM OUT. When folks flee from or are put out of a bona fide Bride local assembly, it is ALWAYS for sins that are exposed. AS IN ALWAYS. 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD. 

And in every single time period.

Wouldn't it be nice if your trash took itself out? Usually, the trash must be put out. Jesus is coming as a Thief in the Night for the Jewels (Mal. 3:16-18, Prov. 31, etc.). Thieves don't steal your trash. Some quit before being fired so to speak. If a person in perpetual sin leaves the church before being put out, the trash just took itself out. Rejoice. Much easier. No leaven. No rocks damming the flow of the river of God. No insulators (versus conductors) of Holy Ghost electricity. Pray for them daily to repent and get back to the call. Til then, occupy in glorious unity as God commands... 

Satan has worked a number by hatching out denominationalism, and raising up kuhzillions of no-accountability assemblies. The entire church should be their brother’s keeper and hold one another accountable. 

When a Brother is in need of restoration, he is called a “sinner.” 

James 5: 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Sinners shall not stand in the congregation of the righteous. 

They will either be put out for their unrepentant sin (Matthew 18, etc.) or they will check themselves out (quit before fired mentality)...

Proverbs 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

How about YOU today? Do you wish that sinners would stand in the congregation of the righteous? Have you THROWN IN THE TOWEL on the New Testament church these last days? Do you “despise government” with respect to a self-governing body of believers with Jesus as the Head? The righteous should not be standing in a congregation of sinners either. Trust for a local body of believers and actually trust God to apply New Testament model Christianity today.
