Dad’s exhortation on Worldly Christians

Are Worldly Christians wanting to blow out your light so theirs can look brighter? 

01/10 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3;Heb.3:13;10:25)…

For this 1/10, let’s have caution as we look in the following 1:10…

Exodus 1:10 (KJB)  Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

Backstory. God’s chosen people (The Hebrews) are potentially rising up, so the Egyptians want to oppress them and attack them… Jews have been seen as a “threat” to so many in history and even today. 

When folks feel threatened (even if just by conviction), they feel driven to suppress you/persecute you. But watch how this panned out…

Exodus 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

The more you endure the hardness and cross betrayals daily, the stronger you get, the more the word of God “worketh effectually” in you, etc. 

So, in Exodus 1:10, the Egyptians (emblematic of the world in the Bible) are afraid of the Israelites beginning to MULTIPLY. 

Watch another 1:10 where God DOES INDEED multiply them… 

Deut. 1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

Deut. 1:9  And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:

**Deut. 1:10 The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.

Deut. 1:11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

By the way, the Abrahamic everlasting covenant DID NOT GO AWAY. God will fulfil this all TO A “T.” There is a DUAL/DOUBLE application to the Israel of God, or the church, though. BOTH WILL BE FULFILLED COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY IN GOD’S PERFECT WISDOM. 

The more the world, the worldly Christians, the flesh, the fleshly Christians, the devil, and the devil-led Christians try to suppress God’s people, the more God quickens the good grid and EXPONENTIALLY MULTIPLIES HIS WORD. 

Acts 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.

Acts 19:20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Caution: Don’t jump on the bandwagon against the Jews. Caution: Don’t jump on the bandwagon against God’s church. Check all railers out or be partakers of their judgment. Both are a spirit to try and suppress/destroy. Neither will finally succeed in the end. God will multiply the rewards of His remnant FOR EVER AND EVER. These are absolute promises. 

You are crucified unto the world (Gal.6:14) and them unto you. You are separated from the Egyptians both in Goshen (Ex. 8:22;9:26) and by the pillar of fire/cloud (typifying separation from the ways of the world). You are a savour of life to some, and a savour of death to others (2 Cor. 2:16). Egyptians find our worship and bread AN ABOMINATION (Gen.43:32; 46:34). God sees you. And God sees THEM. 

Exodus 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
