Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me

Modern Apostles?

Dear Dad’s Teaching for Today. CLEARS UP CONFUSION. Hope you get a BLESSING!

Modern Apostles? Think again.

05/15 DAILY EXHORTATION (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13; Heb. 10:25)

Acts 5:15 (KJB)  Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

God did something QUITE AMAZING. I was meditating on possibly preaching on this VERY SUBJECT for today simply because I was asked about this matter within the past week and LO AND BEHOLD, my exhortation for LAST YEAR *THIS DATE* is the very matter at hand!!!!! Jesus thought of LITERALLY EVERYTHING.

Focus: Acts 5:15. Note that a very notable miracle was going down with a bona fide APOSTLE. His very shadow would heal. Nothing of the sort or caliber is known today.

There is a difference between the ORDAINED OFFICE of a Prophet or Apostle and the OCCASIONAL OCCURRENCE or general sense of either.  Not understanding this one key of knowledge will launch one into a multitude of spirit of error (earmark of our day). First, Jesus is the capital P “Prophet” (Deut. 18:15, 17-19; Acts 3:20-23; Hebrews 1:1-2) and capital “A” chief Apostle (Heb. 3:1; 1 Pet. 2:6; 1 Pet. 5:4). Prophet means “one who prophesies” and Apostle means “one sent.” This paradox confuses most. The OFFICE of Apostle and Prophet IS NOT THE SAME as the OCCASIONAL OCCURRENCE. For example, Moses said in Num. 11:29 “Would God that ALL THE LORD’S PEOPLE WERE PROPHETS, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!” God is not saying that He wants all His people to hold the OFFICE, but to be in the know and walking in His Spirit. 1 Cor. 14 says the same in verse 24 and 31-32. “ALL MAY PROPHESY.” Well, he just told you in 1 Cor. 12 that all cannot be the same gift/member or there would be no body. Therefore it is used in a general sense.  Occasional prophesying doesn’t make one the office. Being one sent doesn’t make one the office. Agabus was the office (Acts 11:28; 21:10-11) with LEGIT foretelling instead of this shotgun nonsense you hear today.

Ephesians 2:19-20 teaches that the FOUNDATION that the pastors, teachers, evangelists or church is built upon are the Apostles and Prophets. 1 Cor. 12 says God set the Apostles FIRST, Prophets SECOND, and then teachers (pastors, etc.) in that order.  The Apostles (office) received revelation nobody else did (Eph. 3:5), they established doctrine (Acts 2:42), wrote books of the Bible, etc. The Apostle Jude said the faith was ONCE DELIVERED.

So, you have the 12 Apostles but then one born out of due time (Paul) making 13 with the OFFICE. These are the only OFFICES while others had the general sense (Timothy, Titus, Barnabas, etc.). By the way, ALL OF THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS WERE JEWS. One more time with feeling: ALL. By the way, there are no post-cross New Testament prophetesses (except Jezebel in Rev. 2). Philip had 4 virgin daughters which did “prophesy” (occasional occurrence versus ordained office) but it doesn’t say “prophetesses.” Junia (Rom. 16:7) was NOT an apostle, but was “of note AMONG the apostles.” Huge difference. Jesus said we are sheep AMONG WOLVES (does that make us wolves? NO, but among them). Thusly, all the Apostles were MALE. We’ve got Female Gentile “apostles” running around today. Ummm. No.

The office of Apostle is vindicated with special signs and wonders (2 Cor. 12:12; Acts 4:29-33; Acts 14:3-4; Heb. 2:3-4; Acts 5:12,15; Acts 13:9-11; Acts 19:11-14, etc.) that NOBODY IS DOING TODAY. Again, NOT ONE TODAY. Nobody is raising the dead, cursing folks with blindness, their shadows are healing folks, touched cloth is delivering folks from devil and disease, getting caught up into the 3rd heaven, writing scriptures, folks are dropping dead in their presence, etc. This is a caliber of miracles that only the office holds. Apostles oft wrote EPISTLES.

Per Acts 1:22-24, to be the OFFICE of apostle, you had to be a contemporary with John the Baptist, around when Jesus was raised and taken up. Nobody today can claim that.  Per 1 Cor. 9:1 and 1 Cor. 15:3-8, to have the ORDAINED OFFICE  of Apostle, you had to have SEEN THE LORD personally and physically.

And here is the Scripture Smackdown. Per 1 Cor. 4:9-13, the office of apostles was “last” among the saints (first in authority, but last in how they lived). They were poor, suffering hunger/thirst, not nice clothes, no certain dwellingplace, and labored working with their own hands. There went all the flattering titled “apostles” of today who live in luxury.  These “apostles” running around today couldn’t raise a blister much less the dead.

Here’s how you know the OFFICE passed on. In Titus 1:5 and Acts 14:23, they started ordaining elders/pastors but not apostles or prophets. Why? The foundational gift was passing away (as in office but not the general sense). James 5:14-15 says to call the ELDERS if sick. Forget the elders if you have apostles and prophets running around who have “special miracles.”

Rev. 2:2 says to try those that call themselves “apostles” and find them liars. Try them with what? The scriptural criteria above. 1 Cor. 11:13 speaks of “false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”

Nobody meets the criteria for the OFFICE TODAY.  Name ONE.

Yet, God wants us to walk as prophets and be “ones sent.” Some to greater measures (missionary calls, etc.). But the notable outstanding and extraordinary signs of an apostle or prophet (see Elisha and Elijah, etc.) are GONE. We are built upon that FOUNDATION until we come to the unity of the faith.

Proverbs 25:14 says that he that boasteth himself of a false gift is like winds without rain and clouds without water (promises but doesn’t deliver).

What is YOUR GIFT for the local/universal body/church? Walk in it with ALL THY HEART, SOUL, BODY and LET THE HATERS HATE AND RAILERS RAIL AND THE EVIL SURMISERS SURMISE as they will be caught by SURPRISE when we keep our EYES ON THE PRIZE of the MOST HIGH’S PRIMARY WILL. Be thou blessed both thee and thine, - r <3
