Ballet Must Have: Foam blocks! Tapered toe Pointe Shoes
So, to all the dancers/ flexible/ fitness people out there: I would highly recommend foam blocks, y’all!
They are so helpful for arch stretches with a stretch band, for the pointe girls. ;) 💙
For split stretches: you can stack 2 and hold for a minute, stack one and hold for a minute, and then sit in your split. It’s a good gradual warm up.
Then for an over split stretch: just put one underneath your leg right behind your knee (super stretch, y’all! Painful but helpful! Your grand jetes will be better).
I find the block too narrow for good balance, and clumsy on turns and spins. Not nice…
