The Church is CHRIST’S BODY.

A 5:14 for 5:14…

Acts 5:14 (KJB) And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women…

ADDED TO THE LORD. Note that the church is bone of His bones, flesh of His flesh (Ephesians 5). 1 Cor. 12 (and Romans 12, etc.) teaches that the members make up Christ’s body. This body is individual, universal (as in the remnant worldwide over the expanse of 2000 years) and local (local body of believers). In Acts 9, when Saul of Tarsus was persecuting the church entering into houses to hale men and women to prison, Jesus said, “Saul, Saul, WHY PERSECUTEST THOU *ME*?” When folks persecute you, they are persecuting CHRIST. That is beyond foolish and is folly on steroids to the 666th power. And Satan has about near stamped out any semblance of New Testament church in these last days. Thusly, God must bust this place wide open soon (see Revelation, and well, the entire Bible). 

1 Timothy 3:15 calls the church THE PILLAR AND GROUND OF THE TRUTH. To speak evil/rail against/slander a Bride of Christ member of Christ’s body is to attack the truth. Why? Jesus is the TRUTH (John 14:6), etc. Watch this: 

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Christians are born of the truth. To speak evil (falsely) of a true brother/sister is attacking GOD’S WORD, GOD’S BREAD, GOD’S BODY, and thusly, by extension, God. 

So, believers are added to the Lord. Everybody starts Bride of Christ by rebirth. Satan’s job is to quickly make one DISQUALIFIED FROM THE BRIDE with a huge arsenal of tricks. 

Today is the official date of Israel as a reborn nation (5/14/1948). As the Israel of God is dual application, let’s rekindle our love for the Lord and His Sovereign plans. Today, let’s be Ambassadors for Christ, not allowing leaven in the lump (see 1 Cor. 5), being the broken, unleavened bread of Christ’s body, being faithful and true to the Lord. Walk in His footsteps (Col. 2:6 and 1st John 2:6) and be ADDED TO THE LORD this day, -r <3
