What is YOUR SOURCE of Wisdom? Are you a SOPHOMORE? 

03/15 Daily Exhortation (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13;10:25)…

Glean this 3/15 from the following 3:15…

James 3:15 (KJB)  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

There is a wisdom FROM ABOVE and there is a wisdom FROM BENEATH. 

Discernment is oft needed to differentiate with clear lines of demarcation. 

Sophomore is a compound word of Sophos (wise) and Moros (fool). Don’t be a SOPHOMORE!

Note that devilish wisdom is from beneath. Cain offered the fruit OF THE GROUND and it was not answered by fire and accepted from ABOVE. Psalms 101 teaches that those that turn aside have something on them that you must not allow to CLEAVE to you. Scripture with scripture, and you realize this is DUST. Shake off the dust of apostasy, defectors, backsliders, the counsel of the ungodly (Ps. 1), church-disciplined, cool/carnal crowd, etc. 

All fleshly, carnal wisdom creates wood, hay, and stubble upon the foundation of ministry (1 Cor. 3) instead of what will abide the fire and be rewarded, which is lawful and by the Spirit (1 Cor. 3;2 Tim. 2:5; John 4:24, etc.)… 

Ezekiel 28 teaches that Satan’s wisdom was “corrupted.”

Hebrews 13:15 *By him* [NOTE IT IS ONLY BY GOD] therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Even our altar of incense (prayer) must be lit from the altar of sacrifice (FROM GOD). 

FLESHLY WORKS ARE NEVER ACCEPTED BY GOD. NEVER. It is all vain when folks carry on in the flesh, in haughty pride, under church discipline, in hypocrisy, for the wrong motive, not to God’s glory, etc. It is LITERALLY WORTHLESS. And God will never “answer by fire” or with signs from heaven on these carnal matters. NEVER. 

A “genius” etymologically was when a good “daemon” (ahem) entered and gave supernatural intelligence. Interesting that “intelligence” is only used once in the Bible and it is connected with antichrist (albeit a tactical military usage). Channeling devils is not the wisdom of the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Speaking of Christ, it says, “In whom are hid ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM and knowledge.” (Col. 2:3). 1 Cor. 1 calls Jesus “THE WISDOM of God.” Isaiah 11 outlines the SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD upon Christ – one of which is the spirit of WISDOM. 

2 Timothy 2 teaches: 

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

God wants the wood and earth gone so we can be vessels of honour. Carnal wisdom and devilish wisdom and the philosophy (never used in a good way in the Bible) of the world, flesh, and devil MUST GO. 

God warns of a “shew of wisdom” (Col. 2:23). Romans 1 says, “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” 

Cease from being a SOPHOMORE (Wise Fool) but Source your wisdom from the Saviour’s Scriptures/Spirit, Saints. –r <3
