Daniel 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
We know from Daniel 3:25 that King Neb (for short) saw THE SON OF GOD. This is a Christophany or Theophany (O.T. appearance of God/Christ pre-incarnate). But note it says ANGEL. Angel means “messenger.” Long story short, angels are always ADULT MEN without wings.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD.
And in every single time period.
Long teaching there, but let’s focus on the ANGEL OF THE LORD.
Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Oh, to be the proverbial “fly on the wall” and hear this conversation! But Jesus would have expounded and included all the verses where HE IS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.

Malachi 3 calls Jesus “the Messenger of the Covenant.” Again, ANGEL means Messenger.
Acts 27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve...
Galatians 4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
The error of religious systems is to then EQUIVOCATE and make Jesus be MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL which is false doctrine taught by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Church of God of Restoration, etc. Michael is merely called "one of the chief princes" and Jesus is THE Prince of Peace, the King of Kings. Michael durst (dared) not rebuke Satan in Jude, but Jesus rebuked Satan oft.
Isaiah 63:9-10 calls Jesus the ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE. Jesus is fully 100% God from EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING. He will oft appear in the O.T. and N.T. as THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.
The Angel in the burning bush of Moses WAS THE “I AM.” Jesus identified Himself as that very I AM in John 8:58…
Acts 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us...
THE ANGEL OF THE LORD GAVE THE OLD COVENANT, AND THE ANGEL OF THE LORD SHOWED UP IN THE FLESH TO GIVE THE NEW COVENANT.
Deuteronomy 33:2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
